Diane Oeste, President, founder and principal consultant for
CSS, is a Certified Professional in Medical Staff
Management (CPMSM) and a Certified Provider
Credentialing Specialist (CPCS). Prior to founding CSS
Credentialing Support Source, LLC, she was active in medical staff services and
credentialing verification organizations for over 20 years in
Career accomplishments include professional leadership roles in national and state organizations. As a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), Ms. Oeste was responsible for two of its most vital strategies, certification and the annual educational conference, leading the success of the Certification Board of NAMSS in developing the certification examination for provider credentialing specialists (CPCS) and chairing annual meetings in San Antonio and Miami. She represented NAMSS in its corporate membership in NOCA, the National Organization for Competency Assurance, an association of multidisciplinary licensing and certifying boards. Most recently she served as NAMSS liaison to the Federation of State Medical Boards, the international organization of medical licensing boards.
She also served as President and Chairman of the Board of
the Illinois Association Medical Staff Services (IAMSS)
representing the association as its official spokesperson in promoting the
professional standards, skills, and significance of its members in
Ms. Oeste is a member of the National Credentialing Form (NCF) consisting of healthcare industry leaders engaged in promoting quality credentialing and was an invited participant in the Federal Credentialing Program, an initiative to consolidate primary source verification nationally.
